Mumbai: It was just last week that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt sent fans into frenzy when they paired up for an advertisement. The two have never been paired in any film, however, all of that is going to change because these extremely talented young stars have been roped in for Zoya Akhtar's next film.
While speculation was rife that Ranbir Kapoor might team up with Zoya, the director has brought Ranveer on board for now. On the other hand, Alia had met Zoya early last year for a possible collaboration but the filmmaker didn't have an appropriate role for her.
After working together in 'Dil Dadhakne Do', Ranveer and Zoya Akhtar an amazing rapport off-screen. Few weeks back, there was a sort of director’s dinner at Zoya’s residence which was also attended by Ranveer.
Ranveer Singh paid Zoya Akhtar a late night visit few weeks back.
While Alia is soaring high with the success of her last film 'Kapoor & Sons', Ranveer is presently shooting for Aditya Chopra's directorial venture, 'Befikre'.
