Mumbai: The makers of 'Kesari' recently released the trailer and it looks absolutely stunning. Starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles, 'Kesari' tells an unbelievable true story based on the Battle of Saragarhi fought on 12th of September in 1891. The historical event is touted as one of the bravest battle ever fought, 21 courageous Sikhs countered 10,000 invaders.
Akshay will be portraying the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, who led the 36th Sikh Regiment and had the reputation of being a feisty and experienced sergeant.
