Mumbai: Along with his band, Farhan Akhtar set the stage on fire as he croons some of his most popular numbers and also few from his own rock band called Farhan Akhtar Live in a live concert held in Navi Mumbai recently. The live performance also saw Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli accompanying their Rock On 2 co-star on the stage.
According to reports, ‘Rock On 2’ continues from the first film, and Farhan’s band ‘Magik’ finds a new member, Shraddha’s character, who plays the piano. Shraddha, who has been musically inclined ever since she was a young girl, decided against playacting in the film, and has reportedly learned to play the piano.
The cast of ‘Rock On 2’ has wrapped up the shoot in Shillong and Mumbai. The film is written and directed by debutant filmmaker Shujaat Saudagar that stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai reprising their roles from the original film. Actress Shraddha Kapoor is an addition to the star cast.
