Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika' producer didn't have a stroke, says associate
Mumbai: The Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi has been in the news since the time of its inception. Once again, the film is in news for its producer Kamal Jain falling ill. If rumours are to be believed, the producer is in the hospital after suffering a paralytic stroke.
According to a source from the team, “Kamal was suffering from vertigo. When he went to get it checked at the hospital, he suffered a silent stroke and was kept on a ventilator. But he is off the external respiratory machine now and breathing on his own. He's recovering but it will take him time to get back on his feet.”
Whereas, the film’s writer Vijayendra Prasad denies that the producer suffered a paralytic stroke. “He is in hospital, but it’s not a stroke. Kamal Jain got food into his lung while eating. He was operated upon, and now he’s out of danger,” he clarifies.
When asked if this setback will affect the film’s Friday release, Prasad said, “This doesn't affect the release at all. Manikarnika will be in the theatres on Friday. The only sad thing will be that the producer won't be standing with us during the release to enjoy the moment. Kamal will miss out on the moment we've all been waiting for. We've all worked hard to see Manikarnika through. Hopefully, he’ll be with us soon to celebrate the film's success.” The film is slated for this Friday release.
