Sonam and Rhea Kapoor have kicked off a girl’s trip to Los Angeles, and are busy taking in all the sights and sounds of the city.
“Their first stop was at Aviator Nation — a lifestyle brand inspired by 1970’s California — where the girls fell in love with hoodies and sweatpants. From there, they started for MTN, a farm-to-table joint and Izakaya helmed by world-renowned Chef Travis Lett. It is the perfect place for vegetarians and non-vegetarians to dine together and gorge on dishes such as the vegan grilled Meiji tofu ramen or sake-marinated jidori chicken wings,” says a source.
The sisters then took off to the iconic Venice boardwalk for a stroll along the Pacific Ocean to the famous Venice sign, where they snapped some great pics for Instagram. Then, they visited the effortlessly cool Hotel Erwin, a beachfront hotel in Venice that has one of the best rooftops in all of L.A. The girls wrapped up their day by watching the sunset and sipping on fresh-pressed juice. Tomorrow, the duo will check out another one of L.A.’s neighbourhoods,” informs our source.
Later, Sonam and Rhea watched a show performed by Calypso Tumbler, a team consisting of buskers — actors, comedians and street dancers. Sonam, who is an environmentalist and avoids plastic even while travelling, was seen carrying a glass bottle for the road.
