Mumbai: After a lot of wait and anticipation, the trailer of Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal' is here and it's not wrong to say that this just could be the best trailer of the year.

The trailer starts with few flashbacks as we see Aamir Khan aka Mahavir Singh Phogat winning the wrestling championship. Unfortunately, he couldn't win the gold medal for his country. In the next frame, we see Mahavir telling his pregnant wife that their son will do what he couldn't; win a gold medal for the country.

Then his wife gives birth to their fourth daughter, but in the midst of celebration, a look of disappointment is clearly visible on Mahavir's face as he wanted a son, for he thinks only a son can fulfill his dream.

However, the intriguing trailer soon takes an interesting turn when Mahavir finally sees the potential in his girls after Geeta and Babita bash two teenage boys who name called them.

Soon enough, what follows is the making of a winner as Mahavir starts training his daughters.

The trailer surely looks interesting if not fresh and we can't wait to join this passionate journey of hard work, love and motivation.

For his role in the film, Aamir had to put on weight for one half of 'Dangal' and then underwent drastic weight loss for the latter half of the movie. It took nearly three months for Bollywood’s perfectionist to achieve his weight goals by following a strict weight loss schedule and gain the desired body for playing the role of younger wrestler in the film.

'Dangal' will hit the theatres in December, 23. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film tells the story of Mahavir Phogat who teaches wrestling to his two daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat.

The film stars Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
