After spending me-time with his wife Avantika and one-year old daughter Imara, Imran Khan is all set to face the camera once again. The actor, who was last seen in Katti Batti with Kangana Ranaut, was insistent that he wished to give all of his time to his wife and Imara, without making any professional commitments. It now looks like Imran is emerging from his paternity break.
While the actor had been going through several scripts in the past six to eight months, he wasn’t quite convinced about giving a nod to any of the ones he read. Turns out, a new director has finally caught Imran’s attention and he’s given his approval to be a part of it. A source tells us that Imran met the director and has loved the idea. “Imran likes to spend time with the director and establish a rapport. He wants to start shooting for the film at the earliest,” the source said. It’s now been revealed that the director is none other than Raj Singh Chaudhary, who played the role of Dileep in Anurag Kashyap’s Gulaal. Raj also wrote Gulaal as well as No Smoking for Anurag. Understandably, Phantom Films will back the new film.
