In a recent interview, actor Angad Bedi spoke about how he would love for his one-and-half-year-old daughter with wife Neha Dhupia to have real-life heroes such as Gunjan Saxena, Dutee Chand, Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal and Deepika Padukone.
In the interview, Angad stated how these people have inspired his life and how he’d want this inspiration to trickle down to his daughter. He also stated that he hopes for his daughter to excel in any field of her choice.
While Angad sees Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal or Dutee Chand as having made India proud with their achievements in their respective sports, he sees Deepika Padukone as not only a world-renowned actress, but also a mental-health ambassador from India.
Angad also went on to add that he saw Deepika as one of the heroes who highlighted India on the world map with her phenomenal work.
