Tiger Shroff is flying high!

Actor talks about his upcoming, A Flying Jatt, a Bollywood mentor and the advice he got from his family.

He maybe just two films old, but Tiger Shroff, known for his ripped physique and dancing skills, says that Bollywood is all about survival of the fittest and that he is happy with the rising career graph. Currently busy promoting his upcoming film, A Flying Jatt, Tiger admits that promotional activities are very hectic. “Yes, promotions do become hectic as we are on the move round-the-clock and there is no time to rest,” says Tiger.

A big hit with the college goers, he confesses that dancing and performing action sequences is a great way to make them happy. It helps that he learnt both karate and dance. Tiger credits his successful start in Bollywood to his parents and director Sajid Nadiadwala. “If not for Sajid Nadiadwala, who gave me my debut film, I would not have been noticed. Also, it is my parents’ love and support, which has allowed me to survive in the industry,” he says.

So what advice did he receive from his family? “Talk less, work sincerely and seriously. Your work will speak for you,” he says. Tiger is keen to do different sorts of films. “I have done action-romance and A Flying Jatt is action-comedy. I want to do all sorts of films where I will not be compared to anyone,” he says, adding, “I am getting plenty of opportunities and will do my best to survive in Bollywood.”

A self-professed fan of his father, actor Jackie Shroff, Tiger says, “I was always in awe of his movie, Parinda. But I would start crying whenever he got bashed up! Now, I realise that these fights are not real.” Tiger says he misses his mom even though he lives at home, as he is busy with his films. “My mom has inculcated all the right values in me. But, I hardly have time for her. Once I get a break, I want to spend quality time with her,” he says.

For now though, Tiger is looking forward to A Flying Jatt and is confident it will be a blockbuster. “The message in this movie is that it’s not superhuman powers that matters. We have to take the initiative to help those who are in need. Children will love the film! I loved superhero films as a child. So I am happy that I have been able to fulfil my dream of turning into a superhero on the silver screen.”
