Aishwarya's lipstick was super cool: Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan has come to his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s defence following the social medial uproar about her purple lipstick at Cannes.

“I think that lipstick was supercool,” says Abhishek, adding, “In fact it is the media who keep highlighting photographs clicked at the Red Carpet. Cannes film festival is a very serious affair and you guys do not know what takes place inside.” Abhishek is also excited about the release of Sarbjit, that stars Aishwarya.

“It is a matter of pride that Sarbjit received a standing ovation at Cannes. Everyone liked the movie. Usually at Cannes if the audience does not like a film they start booing.”
