Exclusive: Sherlyn Chopra's Kamasutra 3D to finally release in mid 2017

The film's director, Rupesh Paul, confirmed the news and said that the film is bigger and better.

Mumbai: The most controversial film ‘Kamasutra 3D’ which was stuck for almost 3 years will finally see the light of the day and will get its commercial release in mid 2017.

Director Rupesh Paul says, “Yes, the film is releasing this year. We are releasing it in mid 2017. The VFX and animating thing is taking time because there is a lot of work. We had lost time which cost money so that’s the loss and the controversy affected us very badly.”

“We have not even given a clue of what our movie is. The next trailer will be representing our movie and it will be totally a new movie altogether. People will forget what all things happened,” he added.

When asked if Sherlyn will promote the film after all the controversy he faced with her, he says the movie is bigger than any actor.

“This movie is a bigger brand than any actor and we are not dependent on one person. She has been telling that she has not acted in the movie let the people watch the movie then they will come to know. After we have settled up with the case we are just in a professional relationship so let’s see if she comes for promotions," he said.
