Deepika Padukone gets philosophical about her 10-year journey in Bollywood

The year 2007 gave Bollywood one of its leading actresses today — Deepika Padukone.

After making her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shaanti Om, today, she is still a favourite among filmmakers.

As the actress looks back at her journey, Deepika gets philosophical. She says, “I have loved every minute of my journey! I understand who I am, and which path I am treading on. I am learning continuously. Even at the beginning of my career, I loved learning. I always believe there’s room for improvement. I am always focused on improving my shortcomings.” The actress adds, “As an artist, I always want to opt for challenging characters. That’s something I am always striving to achieve.”
