The weddings are over, and the entourage has already reached Indian shores for the next set of festivities and celebrations — The two receptions in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Newlyweds Deepika and Ranveer matched their off white silk outfits with red, pink and gold as they headed to Mumbai. They were photographed at the Milan airport according to various news reports and social media feeds.
Deepika’s parents Ujjala Padukone and Prakash Padukone, Ranveer’s parents Anju Bhavnani and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and their sisters Anisha Padukone and Ritika Bhavnani are also back, to prepare for the next phase of the shor–sharaba.
A photograph surfaced showing the couple looking peaceful and happy at the Milan Airport, with many news channels also reporting it. Deepika looked resplendent in an off white churidar with a red and gold Benarasi dupatta. She sported a red sindoor and beautiful antique jhumkas. Ranveer matched the look with an off white kurta-pyjama with a pink and gold Nehru jacket.
