Padman Shoot: Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor strike a pose in New York

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar’s Padman is amongst the highly anticipated films in 2018. After sharing character pictures in the film, the actor along with leading lady Sonam Kapoor has headed to New York to shoot for the last schedule of the film.

The fan pages of both actors’ shared some pictures on social media in which we see Akshay and Sonam smiling and striking a pose and they are also joined by their director R. Balki and the team.

Inspired by the life of Coimbatore-based Arunachalam Muruganantham, who found a way to make cheap, affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village, PadMan features an ensemble of actors like Akshay, Sonam and Radhika Apte. The film will also have a cameo of Amitabh Bachchan.

The film is slated to release on January 26th next year.
