After putting out the first look of her film Dhaakad on Monday, actress Kangana Ranaut attended a special screening of the film along with other members of the cast and crew. The screening was also attended by Satish Kaushik, Anil Sharma and the Deol brothers — Sunny and Bobby.
“I am very fortunate to get such exciting characters to play; and after playing a politician in Thalaivii, I have got an exciting role of a spy. Thanks to my director Razneesh Ghai and my producers, I am getting a role in a film which has never been made before in the Indian film industry. We are entering a new age and we are doing something which is quite revolutionary. So the film is also coming out at the right time,” said Kangana.
The actress had a witty response when asked about the dhaakad moments in her life: “What dhaakad things have I not done in my life? From running away from home to doing various things like acting in movies, I have done things that others have not dared to. So it is quite apt that I am in a film like this and hope people like it,” she said.
The actress feels Dhaakad is meant for the big screen experience. “I hope that there is 100 percent occupancy in theatres all over by the time of its release, and people enjoy the film in the Dolby sound,” she signed off. Dhaakad also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta and has been filmed in Mumbai, Budapest and Bhopal.
