Amitabh Bachchan starts shooting for 'Sarkar 3'
Mumbai: On Tuesday, Amitabh Bachchan started shooting for Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming film 'Sarkar 3'.
After the success of Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar in 2005 and its sequel Sarkar Raj in 2008, the director is launching the third installment in the series, 'Sarkar 3'.
The film will see Amitabh Bachchan reprising his role as Subhash Nagre. Big B took to his official Twitter account and wrote, "SARKAR 3 ka pehla din !! First day !! Larger, intriguing and oh so unpredictable !!"
'Sarkar 3' also stars Manoj Bajpayee and Yami Gautam. In the film, Yami Gautam plays the role of Annu Karkare, who wants to take revenge on Sarkar for killing her father, whereas Manoj Bajpayee plays Govind Deshpande. Manoj’s character is loosely based on a very cranky and slightly violent version of Arvind Kejriwal.
The film also stars Ronit Roy, who plays Gokul Satam in ‘Sarkar 3’, whereas Amit Sadh plays the role of Shivaji alias Cheeku.
'Sarkar 3' also stars Jackie Shroff, who plays one of the main antagonists in the film. In 'Sarkar 3', his character is referred to as 'Sir'.
