After Gadar 2 Success, Sunny Deol Fans Want Border Sequel

22 years after the iconic Gadar, Sunny Deol made a triumphant return as Tara Singh in Gadar 2, shattering box office records across India. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film swiftly entered the coveted Rs 300 crore club and is on a rapid course to reach the Rs 400 crore milestone. This monumental success underscores Sunny Deols' immense fan following and the eagerness of the audience to witness him in a grand cinematic spectacle.

It is said that been learned that Sunny Deol, along with JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, is collaborating to bring India's biggest war film, Border 2, to the silver screen.

Border 2 will be set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan War. A source intimately connected to the project disclosed, Border is undeniably one of Indian cinema's historic blockbusters and certainly merits a sequel. The team has been mulling over the idea of creating a Border sequel for the past 2 to 3 years, and now, everything has finally fallen into place. An official announcement regarding Border 2 is imminent.

The team has identified a hitherto untold story from the 1971 Indo-Pak war and is brimming with enthusiasm to present it on the grand cinematic canvas.

JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta will produce the film and are currently in advanced discussions with a top studio for the project. Border 2 will cast actors from the younger generation alongside Sunny Deol, given its action-packed nature. The source added Sunny Deol will likely be the only actor from the original Border ensemble to return for Border 2.
