No one buys ticket or offers work because of one's surname: Arjun Kapoor on nepotism

According to the 'Mubarakan' star, talent is the biggest qualification.

Mumbai: The much- hyped debate on nepotism was triggered by Kangana Ranaut on the popular chat show of Karan Johar.

The actress accused the filmmaker on his show of being a flag-bearer of nepotism and ever since, the debate has had too many repercussions. Several celebrities from the fraternity spoke about the issue and gave their views on it.

However, the most recent star-kid to give his opinion on the nepotism debate is Arjun Kapoor, son of producer Boney Kapoor.

Arjun, who debuted from Yash Raj Films ‘Ishaqzaade’ reportedly feels that nepotism exists in every field.

As per the actor, there are no degrees in the industry and everyone gets just one chance to prove themselves.

He further stated that he got an opportunity because of his dad, but post that, it was only between the audience and him. He also added that no one buys a ticket or offers work because of one's surname.

According to the 'Mubarakan' star, talent is the biggest qualification.
