Kajal Aggarwal has never performed a lip-lock in Tamil cinema so far, as the actress is said to be fussy about such intimate scenes. But now, a picture leaked from her Bollywood film Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, where she is smooching her co-star Randeep Hooda, has created a stir in tinsel town! It is said that a shocked Kajal pushed Randeep away and called for a cut.
Apparently, the actor caught Kajal completely unawares while filming an emotionally volatile scene in Malaysia. Getting carried away in the heat of the moment, Randeep just grabbed Kajal’s face, and went for the lip lock full-on! The shocked actress immediately withdrew herself from the scene, and backed off.
But the director of the film, Deepak Tijori, through a press release clarified — “I do remember Kajal had told me that she does not do kissing scenes on-screen, as she is well-known in regional films — and this would impact her career down south. There was no intention to malign her or kiss her out of force.”
He also claimed that he could convince the actress about the significance of the emotional scene in the script — and later do one more take with a lot of passion.
Is this really Kajal’s first lip-lock or a publicity stunt by the makers of the film?
Surprisingly, without even checking the facts, the filmmaker giving such statements and releasing pictures of the smooch from the film sounds funny and seems to be a publicity stunt. In fact, it is not the first time Kajal has kissed her co-stars onscreen — she has kissed three times before in Tollywood movies, if not Tamil.
Kajal locked lips for the first time onscreen with Navadeep in Chandamama. Then in Arya 2 , she planted a kiss on dancing sensation Allu Arjun and then again with Mahesh Babu in Businessman! All three times are among the top 10 sensational kissing scenes of Telugu cinema. Well, what do you know? So much for all the drama.
