Balwinder Singh Sandhu (a member of the 1983 World Cup winning team) is our coach and started preparations with us. There will be others joining in soon like Kapil Dev, Yashpal Sharma and Madan Lal. The cricketers from the team will all be here. Everyone has been training for three hours. There is physical training taking place as well as skill training. Styles are being formed,” reveals Kabir.
Kabir also says that the principal shoot will begin in India and then move on to Old Blighty and other parts of England.
“We have a major schedule between May to August in England. We will have some portions of shooting in India as well before that,” says Kabir who has also signed on his favourite, Pritam, to do the music of the film.
“The film will have motivational music and a anthem. There will be different types of songs, there will be an energetic background score as well for the film,” reveals Kabir.
As for the rest of the cast, Kabir is tight-lipped about their names. “There will be an entire team. There are other characters, like the wives of the players and there is a very important character, that of the manager, as well. There will be an official announcement very soon,” is what he offers.
