Ajay Devgn wants Rohit Shetty to announce Singham 3 but he doesn't have script for it

While Rohit Shetty has just wrapped up a Golmaal movie with Ajay Devgn, he’s unable to commit to the next Singham franchise.

Meanwhile, producer Jayantilal Gada has roped in Sunny Deol for S3 — the third part in the remake of the original Singam franchise that starred Suriya. Rohit has gone on to state that he and team Singham hold the right to the franchise in Hindi.

But then the script of Singham 3 isn’t ready, and Ajay is quite keen on working on the franchise, given how it’s one of his big-ticket movies.

Rohit’s in quite the fix. He has committed to Ranveer Singh for the remake of the Telugu film Temper in Hindi. The actor, too, seems to have planned his career ahead with a few films, including Gully Boy, ’83 and the Rohit movie. Where does that leave Singham?

“Ajay is very keen on starting Singham 3, but Rohit and his team aren’t ready with the script yet. Ajay wants an announcement soon after the release of Golmaal Again,” says a trade source. Now, the question remains if Rohit will speed up the process and announce Singham 3 soon.
