Irrfan to question Arvind Kejriwal, Rahul Gandhi about the system; PM Modi not free
Mumbai: Irrfan Khan is gearing up for his next ‘Madaari’, a film which is inspired by a true event that took place during the construction of an overhead Metro bridge on the Andheri-Kurla Road in suburban Mumbai.
The actor, who plays a common man in his upcoming film Madaari, has been approaching public figures to interview them as a part of promotions. He recently interviewed former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and on Saturday sent Twitter requests to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
He wrote, "Desh ka Ek Aam nagrik hoon. Aapse milke kuch sawaal pochnay the. (I am an ordinary citizen of the country (Wish to meet you and ask a few questions?). Can I meet you?" Kejriwal responded within few hours of the request and agreed to meet at the Delhi Chief Minister’s office on Tuesday at 11 am.
