A lot has been speculated as to which Bollywood actress will star opposite Irrfan Khan in ‘Silver Jubliee’. Earlier there was buzz that Vidya Balan will replace Tabu but the former couldn't take up the film. The latest development is that Raveena Tandon will play the female lead in the film.
Raveena Tandon is currently shooting Onir’s ‘Shab’ in Delhi will soon finish its 14 days schedule and will soon revert on ‘Silver Jubliee’ that has been offered to her. Sources are rife that Tabu was suppose to play the female protagonist opposite Irrfan Khan, who have worked together in films like ‘Maqbool’ and ‘Namesake’ but due to the date issues the actress had to turn down the offer.
‘Silver Jubliee’is directed by Anurag Singh, who helmed the National Award winning film, 'Punjab 1984' and produced by Ekta Kapoor.
