Trolled for sharing pictures of him doing tricks on a horse back recently, Vicky Kaushal is all set to launch himself into training for his big-budget extravaganza, The Immortal Ashwatthama.
The film, which will also feature Sara Ali Khan, will start filming only by the end of the year. But according to a source, Vicky has been told to get his horse-riding, sword-fighting, archery and other skills right as they cannot afford him to look like a greenhorn for the required scenes.
The source adds, “Given that there’s much scrutiny on the quality of the content these days, Vicky and his director Aditya Dhar have decided that they need to nail his control of all the other forms of preparation required to play the title role of Ashwatthama.”
Readers may remember that Vicky had done a lot of preparation for his 2019-film Uri though it was made rather quickly. “This film, however, needs Vicky to be on top of his game and hence the preparation time for this film is almost a year though the movie will be filmed only in December once everyone is sure that Vicky is right up there to essay the character,” adds the source.
Vicky will also be seen in a comedy film next year with Manushi Chhillar, for director Vijay Krishna Acharya.
