While the makers were quick to start the shoot for the Varun Dhawan and Kaira Advani starrer on time, they lost ground when both Varun as well as Neetu Singh from the cast, tested positive for coronavirus. The film’s shoot, which was happening in Punjab, had to be postponed midway during the shoot.
The team managed to resume one of their schedules there and wrapped it up. However, with the farmer’s agitation still not allowing many film shoots to take place in the northern state and with the second pandemic wave in India, shoot dates are still to be fixed.
Our source informs, “Varun Dhawan has been in the North East, shooting for Bhediya after which he’ll have a small break before he embarks on the project. But he is basically waiting to know when the pandemic situation will be good enough in Punjab for them to return to the sets. Anil Kapoor, too, is a part of the movie and it does seem that now the actors have given dates by the end of April to shoot for the film.”
