Radhika Madan learnt martial art form ‘Jeet Kune Do’ for Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota!
Mumbai: Radhika Madan, who is eagerly awaiting the release of her second film, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota alongside debutant Abhimanyu Dassani, had to learn martial art for her role.
The powerhouse performer who made her acting debut with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha learnt a new form of martial art Jeet Kune Do (discovered by Bruce Lee) for several scenes to make it look real and considering the method actor that she is, she also practiced the martial art form with the self-defence experts on the set.
A source informs, “For the first time, Radhika will be seen performing heavy duty action scenes on the screen. Since she wanted the fight scenes to look real, she was ready to learn martial art for almost eight months under the supervision of martial art experts.”
Radhika shares, "I feel privileged that I got the opportunity to you know do that. I will always be thankful to Vasan Sir because he has presented me like a proper Hindi film Hero I would say. The opening shot, the action sequences, the slow mos like everything. He has presented me like that, he has given me that privilege and I feel pretty cool about it".
