Amitabh Bachchan skips, Rekha dazzles at Daboo Ratnani's calendar launch

Mumbai: Daboo Ratnani’s calendar launch, which is full of stars every year, barely saw any A-lister this year. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who was supposed to inaugurate the event, also went missing in action.

Amitabh was quite excited for the launch, as can be seen from his tweet here:

But he then apologized and did not attend the event. Aishwarya too was nowhere to be seen, and only Junior Bachchan alias Abhishek made his way to the venue. Here are the tweets of Big B apologizing:

However, Big B’s absence did not deter Rekha from shining bright at the event, which was already under lesser spotlight because of the missing A-listers. Here’s how much fun she was:

The calendar had faces like Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Farhan Akhtar, Vidya Balan, Parineeti Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Aamir Khan or Arjun Rampal, none of whom attended the event. Only Sunny Leone and Miss World Manushi Chillar, apart from Sunny and Abhishek, were the well-known names at the launch.
