Watch: Alia pays tribute to childhood icon Kareena at Filmfare Awards

The talented actress won the Best Actress nod for her phenomenal performance in 'Udta Punjab'.

Mumbai: Alia Bhatt has said on multiple occasions that her biggest inspiration has been her childhood icon Kareena Kapoor, so much so that the industry went on an overdrive comparing her to Kareena, when she made her debut in Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year'.

But the 23-year-old has come a long way since, having transformed into a bankable star in her own right with a bunch of critically acclaimed performances to her credit.

But her fandom for Bebo remains intact, which was much on display during her performance at the recently concluded Filmfare Awards.

The actress grooved to Kareena's iconic 'Ye Ishq Kya Hai,' from 'Jab We Met' and won the audience over with her bubbly and endearing performance.

Incidentally, she also won the Best Actress nod for her phenomenal performance in Abhishek Chaubey's 'Udta Punjab'.

Alia will next be seen alongside Varun Dhawan in 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'.
