‘Neerja’ prime hijacker Jim Sarbh impresses Bhansali, to star in ‘Padmavati’

Jim Sarbh of ‘Neerja’ fame has bagged a key role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s (SLB) period drama ‘Padmavati’.

Mumbai: SLB, the task master, is very particular about the subject of his films. But, what he is most strict with is the humongous work of scouting for the right talent.

Bhansali, who has begun shooting with Ranveer Singh for his part as Alauddin Khilji in ‘Padmavati’, found ‘Neerja’ villain Jim Sarbh impressive as an actor and has reportedly signed him for the film where he will be seen playing a pivotal role.

 

The actor, who had auditioned for ‘Padmavati’, was so perfect that he galvanised Bhansali into signing him immediately.

While Jim has chosen to stay silent on his latest achievement, the spokesperson of the film has confirmed Jim’s association with ‘Padmavati’.
