The 23-year-old can use the money order, which he received on Monday, to buy food and other items at Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail, where he’s currently held.

Aryan was also allowed a 10-minute supervised video call with his family, which according to ANI happened yesterday. The call was in line with a High Court order that allows prisoners a video call with their families twice a week in view of COVID. As per the new jail norms, physical meeting of jail inmates with their families has been barred owing to COVID-19 though they can avail of the video calling facility.

Apparently, the star kid, who has exercised this option only once, broke down while speaking to SRK and Gauri, with them trying to console him during the video call.

Meanwhile, Nitin Waychal, the Superintendent of the jail, has clarified that Aryan is being given jail food, adding that no home or outside food will be served to him until a court order is passed.
