Dream Girl BO collection day 4: Ayushmann Khurrana’s film crosses Rs 50 cr mark

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest movie Dream Girl is on the dream run at the box office.The Ekta Kapoor produced film has been declared as a box office hit. It has surpassed the Rs 50 crore mark on it's fourth day of release.

The film made a collection of Rs 7.43 crore summing up the total of Rs 52 crore.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest box office number of the film. He wrote: "#DreamGirl consolidates and cements its status... Is a bonafide success, with Day 4 [working day] showing negligible decline [despite *lower ticket rates* on weekdays]... Fri 10.05 cr, Sat 16.42 cr, Sun 18.10 cr, Mon 7.43 cr. Total: ₹ 52 cr. #India biz."

Taran made a parallel comparison to Ayushmann’s earlier movies on Monday. He tweeted, “AyushmannKhurrana versus AyushmannKhurrana... *Opening Weekend* biz: 2019: Dream Girl Rs 44.57 cr. 2018: Badhaai Ho Rs 45.70 cr [extended 4-day wknd]. 2019: Article 15 Rs 20.04 cr. 2018: AndhaDhun Rs 15 cr. 2017: Shubh Mangal Saavdhan Rs 14.46 cr. 2017: Bareilly Ki Barfi Rs 11.52 cr.”

Apart from Ayushmann, Anu Kapoor is seen playing the role of the lead actor's father while Nushrat Bharucha is seen romancing the actor. Backed by Ekta Kapoor, the film is helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and had hit the screens on September 13.
