Batti Gul Meter Chalu song Gold Tamba has Sholay and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai connect
Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ team have finally released their first song ‘Gold Tamba’.
The lyrics sound like “When you getting Gold, why go for tamba?” which is topped by Shahid Kapoor’s funny expressions.
But what especially caught our attention is the reference to ‘Sholay’. There is a place where Shahid’s character mouths, “When you getting Gabbar, why go for Samba?” which actually makes us LOL because it is so on point!
And that isn’t the only movie reference. The song has a scene where Shraddha extends her hand for friendship and right before Shahid accepts it, she uses it to comb her hair.
This scene is so iconic since it reminds us of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s chemistry in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
