Slap for selfie: Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna loses cool, hits fan
Mumbai: A video of actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna slapping a fan has gone viral on the Internet. The fan wanted to take a selfie with the star, which got the actor annoyed, post which he lost his temper and slapped the fan.
The episode occurred at Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh, where Balakrishna was on an election campaign.
However, this is not for the first time that the actor lost his cool in public.
A few weeks ago, Balakrishna had slapped an assistant on the sets of his upcoming 102nd film with director KS Ravikumar, the video of which, too, had gone viral, wherein the actor was captured hitting the assistant while asking him to tie his shoelaces.
The actor often makes headlines for his tasteless actions rather than films.
Last year, too, son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and veteran actor NT Rama Rao, Nandamuri grabbed headlines for whacking his fan, who again, wanted to take a selfie with him. In fact, he even faced severe criticism when he made lewd remarks about actresses.
On the professional front, Nandamuri Balakrishna is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Paisa Vasool’ with filmmaker Puri Jagannadh. The film also stars ‘Drishyam’ actress Shriya Saran.
