Karan Johar: Alia is Yash and Roohi's didi; Varun, Sidharth are their chachus

Mumbai: The proud daddy Karan Johar has been on cloud nine ever since kids Yash and Roohi have entered his life, and his protégés Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan have been most excited.

Ever since they’ve been regularly visiting his house to meet the munchkins.

Karan spoke to a leading daily about Varun, Sidharth, Alia’s relationship with Yash and Roohi.

He said, "Their roles have been designated -Varun and Sidharth are their chachus and Alia is their didi. Well, Alia was always the daughter, she is the first-born in that sense. The kids have to call her didi. She drops in often to see them and I really want them all to have a special bond. I want my kids to know that they have family even if they are not biologically related."

"My cousins are now their aunts and buas and I have young actors who are their chachas. Roohi and Yash are already related to a lot of people in the industry. They have to be ready for that. I am very clear that in six months, they will be in a crèche in Dharma (Productions) and they will be a big part of my system. I refuse to be a paranoid parent. My parents weren't like that and I won't be like that, either. I was a shy and introvert kid, but from a young age, my mom encouraged me to interact with people. My parents were people friendly and I want to raise my kids to be like them," revealed the flamboyant filmmaker.
