Mumbai: The makers of 'Udta Punjab' had released two version of 'Ik Kudi'; one being a soothing ballad by Shahid Mallya, and another version with slow electric guitars by Diljit Dosanjh. Now, in an interesting turn of events, they have also released third version of the soulful melody sung by Diljit and Alia Bhatt.

The song has been written by the eminent Punjabi poet Shiv Kumar Batalvi. The video has been directed by Vikas Bahl.

On Wednesday afternoon, it emerged that the Abhishek Chaubey directorial — which has been in news for the makers’ run-in with the censor board — was available on torrent sites for illegal download. The makers went ahead to file a complaint and cyber cell team has been asked to solely dedicate their resources to trace the IP address.
