Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali, who have collaborated on two films- 'Rockstar' and 'Tamasha', bonded while working in those films and have been close since then. Apparently, Ranbir often solicits Imtiaz's advice in matters of heart.
So, when Imtiaz celebrated his 45th birthday yesterday (June 16), Ranbir made it a point to be present for the bash. Also, seen at the party were casting director Mukesh Chhabra and Aarti Shetty.
On work front, Imtiaz is all set to roll out his next starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma later this year. On the other hand, Ranbir is currently shooting for 'Jagga Jasoos' in Mumbai. He is also gearing up for the release of Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' starring Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan.
