So a picture of Rana Daggubati in an old man’s get-up has been doing the rounds on social media. It so happens that Rana is shooting for Prabhu Solomen’s upcoming Hindi directorial Haathi Mera Saathi, and the picture was taken by a passerby while the film was being shot in Mumbai.
A source in the know said, “Rana will be seen in the role of an environmentalist in the outing. Most of it has been shot in forests, and the actor will be seen as an old man through a majority of the sequences.” Well, that pretty much explains his appearance. The film is currently in its last leg of filming and will be released in four languages.
“It’s been coming together quite well,” said the source. The movie’s production suffered a minor setback after two of its actors sustained injuries while shooting. “Other than Rana, who will be seen in the lead role, the film also features one Tamil and one Hindi actor,” added the source.
