Just like big sister Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti wants to be a producer

Mumbai: The latest trend among Bollywood’s leading ladies is taking the big plunge from being just actors to getting into the business aspect of it. After sister Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma made it big as producers, it is now our perky beauty Parineeti Chopra who wants to tell stories but from behind the camera.

While interacting with a popular daily, the actress revealed her desire to unleash the businesswoman in her. “Right now, I would like to [venture into production]. I want to, only because I do have a business mind. I would definitely love to do it.”

Pari, however, does not see it happening any time soon. I am just collecting experience and that’s all I lack right now. “I don’t have the experience to make a film, but I really like the process of making a film. I am a business student, I am a banker in real life, so I would like to combine the two things for sure. Someday soon,” she added.

The award-winning actress does not have any specific genre in mind and would let her instinct make that big decision. “I don’t think it will happen like that. It will automatically come to me that whenever I read a script, I would be like, ‘I want to produce this’. It should be an organic thing,” Pari signed off.

While Priyanka Chopra’s debut venture ‘Ventilator’ (a Marathi film) has bagged three National Awards, Anushka’s films – ‘NH 10’ and ‘Phillauri’- are known for their original content and have done phenomenally well at the Box Office.

The idea of seeing Parineeti as a producer sounds interesting already. Go for it, girl!
