Exclusive: Katrina Kaif to play herself in Shah Rukh Khan's next?

Katrina Kaif, who has been roped in for Aanand L. Rai’s next with Shah Rukh Khan, has an interesting role to play in the movie. The actress is reportedly playing herself for the first time on-screen.

A source close to the film reveals that Katrina will be seen as an actress in the movie. “The film is primarily about the journey of SRK from Meerut to the United States of America, and Katrina comes in as herself, at a very crucial time in the film,” says the insider.

However, when we contacted the writer of the movie, Himanshu Sharma, he remained non-committal about the actress’ role in the film. “Not really,” he explained adding, “It’s way more complicated. You all have to wait for a while to know more about it. I’m not in a position to give out any details at this point of time.”

The movie is already generating a lot of buzz around it, given that it’s the first time Aanand and Shah Rukh are teaming up, and as the superstar is to play a dwarf in this yet-untitled movie.
