Taapsee Pannu is making the most of her experience with Big B. The actress, who is sharing screen space with the superstar in Annirudh Roy Choudhury’s Pink, believes that despite his age, Amitabh Bachchan exudes the energy of a young co-star.
She says, “Mr Bachchan is a rock star with a terrific sense of humour. We have a blast on the sets. Not that I ever had any preconceived notions of him being anything but a chilled-out rock star. Everyone who has worked with him had told me that he is quite cool. I remain myself in front of him. I don’t have to pretend to be prim and proper. He is very easygoing. I wish I could tell you about our on-screen bonding, but I am not allowed to, as it would give away the plot.”
Having said that, she goes on to reveal a little about her character in the film. “I play a Delhi girl — independent, opinionated and liberated. It is a character very close to who I am in real life.”
