Deepika Padukone faces consequences for acting pricey

Mumbai: Even as Deepika shimmered and sparkled in the gold dress during the promo of 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' with her Hollywood co-star, Vin Diesel, she got a rude shock when her managing team informed her about having lost a brand endorsement contract that she had been doing for three years.

The brand managers apparently weren’t too happy with her steep fee hike. They simply chose to drop her even before they could get on with negotiations with the actress.

We last heard that Deepika was in a total damage control mode after the incident and was trying to get the deal back even if it meant slashing her price down!
