We were like 'Gundis' on the sets: Vidya on Tumhaari Sulu co-star Neha Dhupia

Mumbai: Vidya Balan is one actor who has never been insecure. Thus, unsurprisingly, while working with her co-actors, she has never had any cat fights. Instead, she shares a great relationship with them.

Despite her playing the lead role in the upcoming film ‘Tumhaari Sulu,’ Vidya and her co-star Neha Dhupia bonded quite well.

On the sets of the film, it is said that whenever Vidya and Neha were together, they would have a blast.

“We are literally like Gundis on the sets when together. Hum dara dhamkake sabse apna kam nikalva lete the (We would get our work done by scaring everyone around). However, we had a lot of Masti on the sets,” quipped Vidya.”

Showering praises on her co-star, Vidya added, “While shooting with Neha, I realised how hard working and sincere she is towards her work. I would always see her preparing something or the other on the sets even during breaks. I would tell her ‘yaar tum kabhi araam kar liya karo’ (Sometimes you should also rest).

Elaborating on the same, Vidya added, “Another actor who I would really salute is none other than Priyanka Chopra who has made it through her hard work. Both Priyanka and also Neha are so dedicated to their work that not a single minute do they like to rest.”

The much awaited film, where Vidya plays a housewife doubling up as a night-time RJ, is releasing this week.
