Janhvi and Ishaan display amazing chemistry in latest Dhadak stills
Mumbai: The first look of Jhanvi Kapoor-Ishaan Khattar's much-awaited and much talked about Bollywood debut film is finally revealed. Filmmaker Karan Johar shared three posters of the film on Twitter yesterday, and today the brand new poster is out featuring the lead pair.
And if one's to go by the latest stills from the movie, the two display some genuinely natural chemistry.

Janhvi is the elder daughter of actor Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor while Ishaan is the son of Neelima Azim and Rajeev Khattar and half-brother of actor Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan has already made his film debut with Iranian director Majid Majidi’s film, Beyond The Clouds. It was screened at the BFI Film Festival recently.
Dhadak is an official remake of 2016 blockbuster Marathi film, Sairat, starring Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar. It tells the love story of two teenagers battling the rigid caste system.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, it is believed the first schedule of the Hindi remake will roll in northern India in December. The film, that will be co-produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions, will be released on July 6, 2018.
