Mumbai: After the success of Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar in 2005 and its sequel Sarkar Raj in 2008, the director is ready to launch the third installment in the series, 'Sarkar 3'.
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. Big B will be seen playing the role of Subhash Nagre.
'Sarkar 3' also stars Manoj Bajpayee and Yami Gautam. In the film, Yami Gautam plays the role of Annu Karkare, who wants to take revenge on Sarkar for killing her father, whereas Manoj Bajpayee plays Govind Deshpande. Manoj’s character is loosely based on a very cranky and slightly violent version of Arvind Kejriwal.
The film also stars Ronit Roy, who plays Gokul Satam in ‘Sarkar 3’. He plays the role of the right hand man of Sarkar. The film stars Amit Sadh as Shivaji alias Cheeku.
In the film, Jackie Shroff one of the main antagonists. His character is referred to as 'Sir' in the film.
