Why call it Radhika Apte sex scene' and not Adil sex scene': Apte's co-star

Mumbai: Recently, Radhika Apte and Adil Hussain’s love making scene from their film ‘Parched’ found it’s way on the internet. The leaked clip, which featured Radhika and her co-star Adil topless and making love, made headlines everywhere. Responding to the incident, Adil Hussain says the leak of the video reeks patriarchal mindset of the society we live in.

“The most interesting aspect is that the leaked videos is titled as Radhika Apte sex scene and not as Adil Hussain sex scene. That’s because a man doing it is just another matter whereas when a woman does it, it does matter. It is only then when it becomes a sex scene. It also shows the patriarchal society that we live in. In the West, such scenes are normally shown in their films,” Adil was quoted by Indian Express.com.

The actor also revealed that the entire incident seems extremely weird to him. Adil further said that only the love making scene was leaked but no other beautiful part from the film, which shows how sex obsessed people are and yet they assisted to talk about it.

Two scenes, featuring Radhika, were leaked online few days back. Apart from the love making scene, another video clip that was leaked involves Radhika Apte and co-actress Tannishtha Chatterjee. The scene in question has Tannishtha suggestively undressing Radhika and lubricating her upper body.

'Parched', which also starring Surveen Chawla, had been screened at the Toronto international film festival to unanimous acclaim and also won accolades at ther recently concluded International Film Festival of Melbourne.
