'Judwaa 2' has been in news for a couple of years and now it looks like the film is finally going on floors in January 2017. Latest we hear is that the makers are keen to rope in Jacqueline Fernandez as a female lead opposite Varun Dhawan in ‘Judwaa 2’.
David Dhawan will be directing his son, Varun in his first double role, in this franchise. Even though everybody is tight-lipped about the film, pre-production work on the new entertainer is in full swing. According to reports, there have been closed door look-tests in Los Angeles. A major Hollywood studio and DOP (director of photography) along with action-coordinator Spiro Razatos of Fast & Furious 6 fame have been roped in.
‘Judwaa’ was directed by David Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala released way back in 1997. The movie which featured Salman Khan-Karisma Kapoor-Rambha was a super hit at the box-office.
On the work front, Varun, who was recently seen in his brother Rohit Dhawan’s second directorial ‘Dishoom’ has also been roped in for Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi' opposite Alia Bhatt and the two will also be seen in Shashank Khaitan’s next rom-com ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.
