After Parineeti and Sonakshi opt out, Diana Penty bags Mubaraka?

A lot of speculations were doing the rounds about the female lead of Anees Bazmee’s ‘Mubaraka’. Earlier, we have learnt that Parineeti Chopra was suppose to do the film but things didn't fall in place for her followed by Sonakshi Sinha also walked out from the film. Latest, we hear is that Diana Penty will join the cast of the film along with Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.

The film brings Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor together on screen for the first time. From what we hear, the two will be reprising their real life roles as uncle and nephew in the film too.

The film is in its scripting stages and the makers are currently finalising other members of the cast. Shaukeen producers Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde have also been roped in to produce the venture. The film was earlier supposed to be directed by Milap Zaveri. However, things didn’t work out and post the success of ‘Welcome Back’, Anees Bazmee was roped in to direct it.
