Amitabh Bachchan, who was known as the ‘Angry Young Man’ in the 70s and 80s, doesn’t seem to have shed the image yet, even as his hair has grayed. At least, that is what the trailer of his upcoming Pink reveals.
From what could be gathered from the trailer of the courtroom drama by Shoojit Sircar, Bachchan plays a lawyer during the day and in the night, goes hunting for clues to help his case. Asked about it, Bachchan just smiles. So, we will have to wait and watch.
At 70, the actor is bubbling with energy and is seething with anger, much like in his older films. How is that possible? “It is very simple. The dialogues we are given are on par with the character, scene and most importantly, we get thoroughly engulfed in the situation. For me, I would confess it is the environment which gives me the utmost energy and strength to pour out all the anger needed for the scene. Being an actor, I do justice to my character,” he says.
