Due to a technical glitch, Sanjjanna did not realise she was live during a chat session that discussed Sushant Singh Rajput’s death with a prominent national news channel. A clipping of her applying eye make up accidentally popped on during the live chat. Since then she has been heavily trolled on twitter for her insensitivity.
“I was not sitting in the panel in Mumbai I was shooting from my house on skype I’m in Bangalore city and I was not even told Sanjjanaa Galrani you are on air please get ready, the camera was fixed and on and I was still getting ready. Lite touch up not some not heavy make up,” says the hassled star who adds, “I was still getting ready and due to some confusion, I was not aware that I was going live on camera.”
Many online abusers trolled her by saying she looked like she was dressed up for a wedding.
Sanjjanna gave it back to trollers by asking them to ‘shut up’. “It is my duty as a star to look presentable. I don’t need your opinion on how I need to manage myself. Kindly do not make an unnecessary silly issue out of sensitive situations,” she said.
