What if I do not like to give selfies: Radhika Apte on offending fans with decision

Actress Radhika Apte is a big name in the industry today, thanks to her varied choice of films. And with fame comes attention to which the PadMan actress is not used to, nor is fond of the selfie culture.

“You get lots of free stuff being a star and you also get pampered. I have started getting a lot of free things that I am not used to. But it also has a downside to it. I don’t like giving selfies. That’s not me being rude but giving selfies is not part of my job,” said Radhika.

The actress goes on to mention that her fans get offended when she refuses to get clicked.

“They (fans) get very offended but it’s my choice to say yes or no for a selfie. What if I do not like to give selfies?” asked the 32-year-old actress.

She further added, “I don’t understand why I need to go through that. It’s a very subjective choice and not my responsibility.”

Meanwhile, the actress will be next seen in Baazaar and Sacred Games.
